Legion Crassus Dire Wolf Titan
Here is the latest edition to Legio Crassus, my homebrew traitor titan legion. To be honest I am not an enormous fan of the Dire Wolf as a miniature, which unlike the other titan classes, is neither posable and nor very detailed. Still, I think it will be useful, and I will try to fit it into my list for my next game of Legions Imperialis.
I magnetised the carapace weapon and the two hydraulic arms which hold it in place, so I can switch out the weapon (you get three). The arms and waist are push-fit, and I will leave it that way to keep it easy to transport.

Reinforcements for Legio Crassus
Unless you’re playing a pure Collegia Titanica list, it’s rare to take more than one titan in the average game of Legions Imperialis. But the game I’m playing on Thursday is just such a game: four players (2v2), 4,500 points per player! So I have plenty of space in my list for a few titans.
This prompted me to pull my finger out and finish these two, which have been in
my pile of shameopportunity for a few years. I will be taking a list consisting
of a Warlord, two
Reavers and two
Warhounds, supported by Dark Mechanicum
stalkers
and an assault force of Word Bearers (we’re
relaxing the 30% rule on allied forces).
It should be loads of fun, and I will report back on how the action played out!

Legions Imperialis/Adeptus Titanicus Warhound Titan
I already have some Acastus and Cerastus knights to support my Word Bearers, and a Reaver and a Warlord to use in larger games, but you can’t beat a pair of Warhounds for flexibility and threat value against enemy units of any size.
This has been in my pile of shame for some time, but the momentum that helped me get the first wave of Word Bearers units finished also motivated me to get this finished.
Obviously this chap has a companion which is should be finished soon (I will probably sell the Warhounds that came in the LI box). I also have another Reaver, some more Cerastus knights, and some Questoris knights that will round out the strategic assets that’ll be available to support my Astartes army.
Adeptus Titanicus Reaver Titan

Here's a Reaver titan to go with the Warlord titan I finished late last year. Definitely much easier to paint! I managed to slightly mis-position the feet and toes, meaning that the armour plates on the leg are a bit wonky, but thankfully it's not too noticeable. I won't make that mistake again!
I'm now working on some Cerastus and Acastus knights. Rather than going for a homebrew House I'm going to paint them as House Malinax.

Mars-Pattern Warlord Titan of Legio Crassus
The War Engines of Legio Crassus

The legion consists of four Warhounds, three Reavers, four Warlords and a repainted and refurbished Warmonger (which still needs a bit of attention as one of the Hydra turrets has lost a barrel).
with the exception of the arm weapons on the Warmonger, and the Carapace weapons on the Lucius-pattern Warlord, every single weapon is magnetised, meaning that I can customise the weapons load-out of each titan as I see fit. In addition to a lot of classic metal and plastic titan weapons, I've also included some of the weapons from the Defeat in Detail Cybershadows Leviathan models to proxy as various different weapons.
These titans are painted in the colours of Legio Crassus - a titan legion that was loyal to the Warmaster during the Horus Heresy. None of the titans show the corruption of Chaos - but that might change in the future! For now, they are just a Heresy-era traitor legion, and wear the Eye of Horus proudly over their metallic green armour.

A new legion rises...

Here is the magnetised Reaver that I showed a video of in my last post. You will not that its colour scheme doesn't match my other titans: this is because I have decided to build a new legion; because of the increased interest in Epic in my local area, I've been playing more titan-versus-titan intro games, and I want to have two different legions for these games.
The colour scheme is an old one: I had a few titans painted in this colour scheme many years ago, but repainted them as Legio Pantera (something I now regret!).
I'm currently working on some Warhounds to go with the Reaver, and then a Warlord or two thereafter. I'm planning on magnetising them all!
